Who Are We?
The Polytechnique Laboratory for Assistive and Rehabilitation technologies (POLAR) is led by Professor Abolfazl Mohebbi in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal.
The lab is supported by the Research Chair in Assistive and Rehabilitation Technologies from the TransMedTech Institute, which fosters the creation of cutting-edge medical technologies, trains the next generation of experts, and transforms innovation in life sciences and engineering into tangible benefits for society.
At POLAR, we focus on advancing robotics and biomechatronics by developing innovative technologies, analytical tools, and methodologies designed to help individuals relearn, restore, or enhance their neuromotor abilities.
